Welcome to the Anglican Parish of Redcliffe. We are so very happy you are here.

We are a parish of two churches on the Redcliffe Peninsula encompassing the suburbs of Rothwell, Kippa-Ring, Newport, Scarborough, and Redcliffe. Our churches of St Mary’s and St Anne’s are located in Redcliffe and Scarborough but our community comes from all over the peninsula and beyond.

Our worship is predominantly described as Anglo-Catholic but we embrace many worship styles for different occasions, from the traditional ‘bells and smells’ to intergenerational contemporary worship, to contemplative Taizé services and everything else in between. 

We are a parish that welcomes diversity of all kinds and hope that everyone can find safety, comfort and a community here as we all strive to demonstrate the teachings of Christ by living them every day.

While we hold a strong Anglican tradition close to our hearts, our doors are wide open to everyone, regardless of their familiarity with Anglicanism or Christianity. In this parish, we believe in fostering an environment of learning and growth, where questions are welcomed, and journeys of faith are embraced. Rev’d Danni is always open to conversations over a coffee as we all learn from each other. 

Every week we have services at both centres and a midweek service at St Mary’s with a combined Sunday service when there is a fifth Sunday. But just as importantly is that after every service there is a time to share a cuppa and a chat and explore the great Anglican tradition of hospitality. This is important because Church is not just something that happens on a Sunday from the pews. It is a community that forges relationships together, listens and
shares our stories, loves and cares for each other, and learns and grows closer to God, together.
